“When I walk along the narrow, pebbly gravel road that runs along the neat rows of Ariola, I sometimes become mesmerised, for an instant, by the patterns of a picture painted by nature.
The brown and grainy silence of the clay furrows interrupted by the bright colour of the vine leaves, in shades from vermilion red, to golden, to bright green, reminds me of the seasons and how time passes. Of my connection to my land.
And I see how past and present merge. How soil and vineyard are intertwined, generating matter from a single fruit: life and vine.”
We prepare the bare soil to welcome future fruits. We work it gently, respecting the rhythms of the changing seasons
The first warm rays shine on the foliage. Once again the fatigue of winter turns into energy, vital force that will nourish the fruits
We observe nature to read her signs and advice. It is harvest time. Time to start the delicate balance of transformation and preserve its ripe juice
Father Time. We have learned to heed him. And infuse all of his knowledge into our wine
Experience is wealth. Preserving it with care is the best way to make it shine through our wines.
The connection with the land becomes matter. Encapsulated in small pearls of light, sublimating in ether. Past, present and future brush past each other. Until they merge. A new beginning is born...
We work watching the sun go down over our vines after caressing them all day long. Slightly sloping and well-exposed.
Our entire history and current knowledge, our passion and desire to perfect the quality of the varietals and the winemaking methods go through our grapes and into our wines.
On the slopes of the hill there is a special place, where time rests and turns ripe must into Ariola wine
The light and reddish dusk gives way to sparkling, flavourful evenings. An experience that is hard to forget
